Job Role - Fleet Compliance / Workshop Coordinator
Hough Green Garage Ltd is a long-established business that remains family owned. We provide a National Rescue & Recovery service to a wide range of customer base. This role involves managing the Fleet maintenance and also over see daily duties within the workshop. In this role you need to be organised, as you'll be maximising capacity in the workshop and Fleet maintenance.
You will oversee the day-to-day business activities, ensuring the productivity levels remain high whilst customer satisfaction levels are exceeded.
Duties:
- To manage fleet compliance in line with current legislation and within the Policy & Procedures. To support operations with technical expertise and knowledge ensuring compliance levels at depot level are achieved and maintained.
- Overall responsibility for the control of all costs relating to scheduling & compliance
- Responsibility for forward planning all scheduled legal events within set timescales, 6 weekly's, MOT and services ahead of time so as not to affect overall fleet availability to the operation.
- Ensuring all legal documentation and ensure these are scanned and uploaded in a timely manner on to the systems.
- Over seeing the Workshop ensuring product quality, assigning tasks to workers, coordinating resources, ordering supplies, managing invoices, and advising on key projects, responsible for the fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop.

You will have previous managerial experience in a similar administration/workshop role, you will have worked in a vehicle fleet management business before within a supervisory capacity.
- Experience of labour force scheduling, with proven time management skills
- Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
- Experience of supervising / managing colleagues
- Experience of delivering coaching/training in the moment to colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
- A track record of success in delivering against targets
