Description

Operational Delivery Use your advanced driving skills to respond to medical emergencies Safely transfer patients to and from ambulances, using specialist equipment and manual handling skills Work alongside other ECS clinicians responding to a range of ambulance activities Complete thorough handover reports and record all patient treatment information Carry out equipment checks of ambulances to ensure they are safe for operational use Carry out all duties, working within the defined scope of practice and adhering to protocols, policies, SOPs and clinical guidelines, seeking appropriate clinical advice and/or support as required.

Clinical Delivery Deliver high quality patient care across a range of operational activity Operate within the ECS scope of practice and ensure high quality, appropriate patient contact and documentation Ensure that ECS clinical standards are met and exceeded at all times, making effective clinical decisions within guidelines and ECS policies & procedures Treat patients with respect and dignity and maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data, ensuring it is processed lawfully You will lead the assessment of patients and administer essential care in high pressure situations
