Product Administrator


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Sales & Marketing team to support the Marketing & Product Manager in the management of the Society's savings and mortgage product proposition.


Salary:
£22,200 per annum.


Location:

Head Office, Tipton, this is an office-based role, we offer hybrid working following successful completion of training and probationary period.


Hours:
Full-time position working 35 hours per week.


Key accountabilities

  • Strong attention to detail to create product collateral, including but not limited to, product sign off sheets, product literature, website pages, external communications.
  • External distribution of the Society's lending criteria.
  • Administration of the Society's internal product systems, including upload of products on the system.
  • Ongoing product market analysis, proactively recommending areas for improvement in the Society's products.
  • Commitment to speed to market, targeting a speed to market within 72 hours of recommendation to live.
  • Creation of product and criteria related financial promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulation and internal processes.
  • Observe and recommend opportunities to enhance the Society's offering.
  • Provide high quality administration service with product changes including preparation and reprinting of literature.
  • Ensure all relevant departments and branches have a sufficient supply of compliant product literature.
  • Ensure the Society's website is kept up to date with product information.
  • Provide sourcing companies with timely updates to changes of the Society's products and products are accurately reflected.
  • Assist in preparing for meetings, including preparing and issuing minutes or reports.
  • Creation, and sending, of monthly regulatory mailings.
  • Ensure products are displayed accurately across sourcing platforms.
  • Assist in completing product research to remain competitive and support new entries to market.
  • To assist in the development of products.
  • To efficiently complete product set up processes.
  • General administrative duties, including answering the telephone, photocopying, scanning and printing.
  • Organise and attend out of hours marketing events/sponsorship events.
  • Adhoc projects and tasks as required by the Marketing & Product Manager, or any member of the Senior Leadership team (SLT).

Requirements for this role

  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in marketing.
  • Excellent administrative skills, and PC skills, covering Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Able to follow and work to procedures and instructions to produce accurate and thorough work.
  • Able to work as part of a team and contribute to the team effort and objectives.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and to embrace the Society's values.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.
  • Able to adopt flexible working patterns, to ensure all Society deadlines are met, and to meet any out of hours requirements e.g. to attend sponsorship/marketing events.
  • Organisation and workload management/prioritisation skills.
  • A good knowledge of mortgage and savings products is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's at grades 94 (or A-C or equivalent), including Maths and English.
  • 2 A-Levels at grades A to C (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.

Desired:

  • Experience of working in the Financial Services market
  • Experience of working within a product role.
