We are currently looking for a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber in our Guildford based internet pharmacy, working 35 hours per week (or less), reporting to the Superintendant Pharmacist.

We are a new internet pharmacy with very limited business at present, we're looking for a dynamic independent prescribing pharmacist to grow the business and services provided.

• Prescribe POMs and weight loss management treatments in accordance with GPhC standards.
• Provide prescribing information and advice to patients and pharmacists.
• To ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of online pharmacy services in accordance with GPhC national and local standards, including the development and maintenance of adequate online prescribing guidelines.
• Contribute to the maintenance of client clinical databases; coordinate data entry and retrieval searches and reports to meet the internal and external service requirements as appropriate and ensure data security at all times.
• Liaise with pharmacists regarding supervised dispensing and prescription queries.
• Accountable for professional pharmacy legal & ethical decisions, actively supporting the development, education & training of the team.
• As operations grow, you will be advising the board on an appropriate workforce plan providing sufficient pharmacy staff who are trained and competent for their roles.
• Developing an effective working relationship with pharmacists.
• To provide monthly management reports against set KPIs.
• Ensuring adequate and uptodate Standard Operating Procedures are in place and are being followed as required by GPhC.

• Qualified as an Independent Prescriber.
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and common sense.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
• Awareness of social context of drug misuse and the wider implications of the behaviour.
• Proven experience in operations and team management.
• Previous work experience in an online pharmacy is preferable.
• Be commercially and IT astute, able to grasp the latest technologies and software in relation to online pharmacy operations and eCommerce.
• Possess firstclass communication skills.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
