We have a rare opportunity to join our Paint Line team as a Production Operative.

Position:

As Production Operative you'll enjoy being a critical part of the team and work flexibly across a variety of production activities.

What does it involve?
As Production Operative you'll 'roll your sleeves up and get stuck in' wherever you're needed carrying out a variety of different tasks including:

Loading the paint line with the aluminium profiles;
Unloading the line and carrying out routine quality checks;
Packing painted product off the line;
Movement of materials to and from the line including use of forklifts/sideloaders;
Completing paperwork / records.

Requirements:

What will you need to know

As Production Operative you'll be working on vertical paint line (and there aren't many of those around) so we'll make sure you'll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role.

Experience of working as a Production Operative is a bonus but, as a minimum we're looking for you to demonstrate your:

Ability to follow standard operation instructions.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail. you'll need to match drawings to extrude profiles.
Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues we're a team and better when we work together
Self‐motivated proactive approach to work that is able to demonstrate initiative.

This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.

Role details
50 hours per week between

Salary - 27, per hour) to 28, per hour) depending on experience
