Maths Learning Coach - Interviews on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th December with a 9th January 2023 start.

NorthWest - Manchester area Face to face - working with groups of up to 15 adult learners in Trafford/Salford/North Manchester area - with some delivering functional skills to Study Programme learners year olds) in the Cheshire area (mileage paid)

£ £29750 inc car allowance, CPD, support, progression, generous holidays, 40p per mile business travel

Are you looking for your next career move teaching adult learners Maths and English ? With a caseload of learners you will ensure that all learners experience a high quality learning programme in terms of content, structure and learning support.

Do you have a level 3 Maths/English and/or would like to work towards a level 5 teaching qualification and have in-depth knowledge of specifications for functional skills ? Do you have experience of both Functional Skills and GCSE Maths delivery ?

Your role as Functional Skills Coach will include working with learners with an identified need for extra support to achieve their Functional Skills and understand and agree with employers, each learner's starting point and skills development needs

Using our clients English & Maths delivery process, to agree a training plan with each learner and employer that meets those needs

To manage the delivery of the training in line with the plan and in particular:
Regularly and thoroughly review progress against all aspects of the plan with the learner and their manager
Take prompt action where the learner falls behind
Ensure that the learner is accessing and benefiting from delivery that you are not personally undertaking (for example, BKSB)

Facilitate regular caseload reviews of learner's progress and to ensure that learners are healthy, safe and supported at work.
