Role Purpose
Responsible for producing and co-ordinating design drawings, specifications, reports and studies for network infrastructure. Undertaking technical site surveys, investigations and technical assurance, in conformance to military standards (JSP 604)

What you'll do

Responsible for the design and implementation of cabling infrastructure, in conformance to military standards
Responsible for the creation of documents to include Rack Layouts, Floor Plans and Cable Routes
Responsible for maintaining records for cable management, reservation of infrastructure and managing requests
Create, manage and maintain drawing library for floor plans, fibre routes/lengths and rack layouts.

Who you are

Experience of MOD standards and policies including but not limited to JSP60
Knowledge and experience of designing communications infrastructure
Ability to analyse data and design documents to break down work into key tasks and activities.
Customer focused, delivering a high level of service to internal and external customers,
Knowledge and competent in the use of MS Office, Visio and other design/planning tools
Must be willing to undergo DV clearance
