An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Business Improvement Department, to co-ordinate our Programme Office activities in Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS).

Reporting to the Business Assurance and Improvement Manager, the role will support delivery of our strategic goals by co-ordinating effective portfolio, programme and project management activities within the Service


About the role


As Programme Office Advisor, you will support delivery of TWFRS strategic goals by co-ordinating and helping to drive portfolio, programme and project management across the Service, aligned to our planning processes and providing specialist advice and critical challenge to key stakeholders, including senior managers.


The role has responsibility for the creation, ongoing development and implementation of the programme and project management framework and tools for the Service, reporting on progress and outcomes as required.
