Description
Steel welder/fabricator required to work in an EN-1090 accredited, structural steel fabrication environment. Initial contract will be for 6 months depending upon performance, there is the possibility of contract extension.The successful applicant will be self-motivated, hard-working and reliable.
Applicant must be an experienced MIG welder with the ability to read drawings. A background in structural steel and experience/coding to EN-1090 is essential.
Duties will include:
prep and tacking, MIG welding and saw operation. Must have experience/training on use of an overhead gantry crane.
On interview, you will be required to perform a fillet weld test to a specified size with correct welding machine parameters.
Starting pay rate will be dependent upon experience and ability. Overtime will be available.Hours of work 7.00 till 3.30, Monday to Thursday and , Friday.
