Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant

£85 - £100 per day

The School/role:

We are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Alternative Provision school based in Walsall that are seeking a passionate and resilient 1:1 teaching assistant to join their team.

The school are committed to offering a second chance to students who may not thrive in mainstream education.

The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very fulfilling for people who have teaching assistant experience.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

Requirements:

Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
PECS and Makaton training/experience
ASD, SEMH, Nonverbal, PMLD, MLD, visual impairment needs experience
Level 1 safeguarding certificate
Recent school based references

Valid Photo ID

Driving Licence or passport
Full DBS on the update service
