At Safran Electrical & Power, we recognise that aviation needs to innovate and change in order to protect our environment.

We believe that future aircraft power systems will be hybrid-electric or full-electric, which is why we are working to develop and deliver advanced electrical solutions to help decarbonise flight.

In addition to supporting the next generation of traditional aircraft, we are also working to support new VTol (Vertical Take-off and landing) products, light jets and urban mobility solutions that will revolutionise the way we fly.

If you want to help deliver this future, we are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join our team.

The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

The Role

As a Senior Production Controller at Safran Electrical & Power you will play a key role within the MRO team, ensuring service orders are kitted to maximum output for our customers.

  • Track and prioritise units based on OTD (On Time Delivery) and TAT (Turn Around Time) requirements by customer.
  • Identify risks in TAT and work with the operations teams to ensure exchange plans are met.
  • Create and develop weekly production plans, setting priorities with operations managers before reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Drive the operations teams to clear out customer units that are on hold.
  • Build target inventory programs with robust actions in place, ensuring progress is monitored.
