    Description

    Job Title: Support Worker

    Hunts Recruitment is seeking committed and compassionate individuals to join our caring team in the Bursledon area of Southampton as Support Workers.

    Your role will be to support adults with additional learning needs in their day-to-day lives and routines, providing a high level of care and attention.

    About the Role:

    • Job Type: Permanent
    • Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday
    • Salary: £23,816 - £24,500 per annum
    • NVQ 2 or above preferred but not essential
    • Car drivers preferred but not essential

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To contribute to providing quality care and life experiences for vulnerable people
    • To help create a therapeutic, structured, and relaxed environment where service users can develop and enjoy their lives
    • To assist in daily home management by coordinating activities during shifts as required
    • To support and advise new staff members on implementing procedures and service user guidelines
    • To ensure accurate administration of medication in line with Company Policy and CQC guidelines (training provided)
    • To deliver personalized care programs for each service user and maintain accurate records
    • Liaise with relatives, other staff, and professionals under the guidance of the Home Manager

    Additional Information:

    All employees are expected to be flexible when necessary and undertake tasks not specified in the job description to cover unforeseen circumstances or changes in work. Training will be provided.
