Butler Rose, public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, one of the UKs largest firms of chartered accountants, in their requirement for an Audit and Accounts Associate to join their City of London office on a hybrid basis.

Role Requirements

Draft and prepare client accounts/statutory accounts of partnerships and LLPs along with Tax computations.

Assist and participate in audit assignments at client sites.
Draft Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
Compile Profit and Loss accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities and trial balance accounts.
Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls.
Liaise closely with clients and other stakeholders, keeping the relevant manager/supervisor informed of developments.
Person Requirements

Ideally studying for chartership with ACCA or ACA.

At least 1 year experience within practice in a similar role.
Double entry accounting and bookkeeping skills.
Previous experience in audit would be desirable but if not, this will be taught.
Proficiency in the use of Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Alphatax and CCH.
