GENERAL CLEANER AND PORTER

DOC Cleaning is a privately owned family run business providing a range of cleaning and associated services to a wide range of prestigious landmark locations predominantly in London, the Southeast and Home Counties.

An opportunity has arisen for a General Cleaner/Porter to join a team at a heritage site in the city of London.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

General cleaning duties
Offsite delivery and receipt of goods
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Maintaining loading bays in a tidy condition
Removal of rubbish via skips or to tips
Transporting furniture between stores and offices
Settingup and clearing furniture for conferences and functions
Assembling and dismantling furniture
Tidying up storerooms and yards, etc.
Miscellaneous cleaning tasks
Answering the radio
Janitor and Cleaning Machinery skills

The applicant must have good communication skills. Written and spoken English is essential and excellent customer service skills as client liaison is part of the role.

Working hours: 2pm to 8pm Monday to Friday (30 hours per week)

Rate of pay:
£13.15 per hour
