Salary:
£42,691 - £49,626 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Permanent | Full Time
This is an excellent opportunity for a Linesperson to take the next step in their career as an Overhead Lines Craft Trainer and Assessor.
If you bring your knowledge of building and maintaining overhead lines, we'll equip you with the training and support to obtain the relevant qualification in instructing, coaching and assessing.
The main duties of the role are:
- Demonstrating practical skills, coach and monitor progress of learners whilst undertaking practical tasks.
- Monitoring training material, packages and practices to ensure business training requirements are met in line with company policy and procedure, giving effective results and acting on feedback.
- Developing and maintaining safe working practices for all activities in line with company policy, rules and procedures. Carrying out risk assessments for all training activities and coach learners in completion of risk assessment.
- Completing authorisation assessment in line with SSE standard criteria. Undertaking trade testing.
- Undertaking development projects as required, interacting with other members of the wider team to maintain a consistent approach to training.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Knowledge and technical experience of the relevant craft.
- Authorised Person or higher for work/operation on distribution networks.
- Operational experience in the Power Systems business.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A full, current driving licence.
