We have an exciting opportunity for a Latex/Backing operative to join our team, based in Dewsbury. Working within an everchanging busy environment for a leading carpet manufacturer in the UK.

12 week training will be required for the role and if successful may lead to a Permeant position. Pay will start at £11.53 per hour once Training has been completed this will rise to £12.50 per hour.

Role responsibilities:

Setting up correct level of latex
Run auto foam.
Changing a secondary backing
Watching all guides, sensors, and processes on the plant
Be able for cleaning Backing plant when needed.
Safe operation of machinery in line with company Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensuring all products are manufactured to specification and of excellent quality.
Maintaining a safe working environment by having a proactive approach to safety and housekeeping.
To work in a professional manner at all times and comply with the company's policy and procedures.
Must be willing to learn all roles in the backing area to cover if needed.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.
