Kind Consultancy is working with a national mortgage network which is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to join them in a full-time, permanent role paying up to £55,000.
The Compliance Manager will be based in their West Midlands offices, with a hybridwork model.- Interpreting FCA rules and regulations and translating these into compliance policies and guidance and support
- Leading thought on the development, implementation, communication and review of Compliance Policy.
- Acting as a compliance representative on key business change and development programmes.
- Keeping uptodate with external regulatory requirements and ensuring that the policies followed by the network are up to date and reflect the organisation's risk appetite.
- Delivering compliancerelated projects or compliance elements of wider business projects.
- Designing and producing policy materials, guidance, briefings and communications required to fulfil new and changing compliance requirements and to embed a compliance culture.
- Overseeing and implementing policies in relation to regulatory reporting and communication of exceptions to policy through the governance framework
- Must be fully CeMAP qualified
- Has substantial experience of work in 2nd line Compliance roles within Financial Services
- Has a strong understanding of the principles of TCF and Conduct Risk management and of Conduct and Regulatory risk, as well as knowledge of the Three Lines of Defence model
- Has good knowledge of the FCA rule books (COBS, MCOBS, ICOBS, SYSC, SUP, PRIN, DISP, MIPRU & PERG) and their implementation, as well as SMCR, Risk, Governance and Compliance frameworks, regulatory rules and reporting
- Has demonstrable experience of supporting the delivery of complex compliance and businessrelated projects
- Possesses a strong understanding of what is involved in providing advice/recommendations to customers as an intermediary for mortgages and noninvestment contracts of insurance
- Has good knowledge of mortgage and noninvestment products, markets and providers and methods/channels of delivering advice to customers.
