We are looking for a Planning and Analysis Lead to join the Procurement Team based at our Head Office in Totton.
This newly formed role will provide Planning & Analysis for the Procurement & Supply Chain function as well as supporting the MHC Group requirements.
The role will be responsible for providing functional and business reporting & updates as required; system management, updates to master stock; annual price increases as well as purchasing support.

We work closely with NHS, Local Authority and Social Care Organisations providing a complete outsourced service that significantly reduces costs, delivers better quality and an enhanced patient experience.
The Role:
- Lead and/or assist in the delivery of MI and reporting as per functional and business requirement
- Lead and/or assist in the development of the P&SC reporting suite, in line with functional & business requirements
- Lead and/or assist in the continuous improvement of MI, through the function & business
- Responsible for reporting for the planning of stock, through all areas of the function and business, as per requirements.
- Liaising with the Ultimate planning & buying function, ensuring effective two way communication and alignment of stock.
- Lead and/or assist in the development of purchasing governance
- Lead and/or assist in the control of spend against targets
- Responsible for the implementation of master stock updates/amendments/price increases through multiple systems as and when required.
- Responsible for liaising with the commercial function to communicate any master stock amendments
- Undertake transactional tasks as and when required
- Undertake any duties that the line manager or the Group Head of Procurement & Supply Chain sees fit.
About you:
- Previous stock, purchasing and reporting experience within a similar role (minimum of 3 years preferable)
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems
- Working towards CIPS would be advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to remain focussed on key priorities
- Strong IT skills with experience particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively within a highpressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work with minimum supervision
Rewards:
- A salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday 08:30 17:00 40 hours
