About the team?
Stroud is a beautiful station and you'll be part of the station team who look after this historic station.
Stroud has incredible links with the local community and you will play a key role is helping to maintain and nurture our existing community links.
About the job?
You will confidently and impartially sell the full range of tickets and services, ensuring that customer requirements are met and exceeded, provide information and assistance to customers and ensure that the station environment is kept to a high standard.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Being dedicated to our customer's needs
- Accurately and impartially selling the full range of products and services to our customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Maximising opportunities for increased sales by adopting selling techniques and offering enhanced products to customers
- Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of ticket machines and IT equipment
- Accurately completing all accountancy and other associated documentation
You'll need to be:
- Able to deliver extraordinary front line customer service
- Able to understand customer requirements and expectations
- A selfstarter with a can do attitude
- Confident when decisionmaking
- Calm yet directive
- Able to work to strict procedures
As a minimum you'll need to have:
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Evidence of numerical ability
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Live within 1 hour of Stroud Station
Working Pattern?
This role is part time with a set roster covering afternoons 27.5hrs per week.
This role has a set working pattern: Monday-Friday: 12:50hrs-18:20hrs.
A requirement to work 1 in 3 Sundays is included in addition to your working hours - Sunday hours will vary.
