Description

To be an essential part of the running of the Distribution Centre, predominately based on the shop floor. To lead the stock team ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout our operation for our £4m+ stock holding.

Understanding how other departments work, making decisions that ensure the right products are in the right places and to oversee a team of operatives and ensure all individuals are kept motivated and consistently achieving the team KPI's.

Ensuring stock accuracy using stock team operatives & methods like cycle counts.
Accommodating new SKU's from the supply chain team & ensuring they are setup correctly on our system.
Understanding & root causing issues within other departments that impact stock accuracy to ensure flow of daily tasks for picking & replen teams.
Care of existing SKU's on the shelves to ensure accuracy & capacity for demands & sales of the company.
Managing nonstock & overflow stock locations to ensure accuracy & tidiness for picking teams.
Monitoring reconciliation between business systems with help of IT team.
Daily monitoring of clockin times and escalate any concerns
Log issues that arise within the distribution centre and provide solutions or refer to line manager if necessary
Always promote safe working practises,
Take responsibility for H&S, First Aid and Fire Marshalling for all personnel in the building through the shift.
