THE ROLE


We are looking for a Technical Assistant to not only provide support to the day-to-day technical management requirements of London Stadium but also to assist the Technical and Operations Team in ensuring the success of events taking place at London Stadium, whether that be on match day or high-profile events like Major League Baseball or a concert.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in technical or facilities management who is looking to develop their skills and take the next step in their career.

If you like a varied day, this will be the role for you, ranging from meeting teams on event requirements to delivering parts of stadium projects.


You will need to be pro-active and have the ability to juggle various priorities to respond to ever changing requirements.

This will be key in keeping senior managers and stakeholders fully aware of progress in a range of projects, as well as keeping day to day systems on track so strong organisation skills will be essential.

The majority of your time will be spent providing support in the delivery of various small works projects around the stadium, including assisting with the preparation and drafting of technical related project work documentation and scope of works for submittal and approval, and its implementation thereafter.

We lead in promoting a diverse and inclusive range of events.

In this role, we are looking for a talented individual with relevant lived/work experience of working with diverse communities like those we serve in east London and looking to develop them further.


This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in an operational event environment, with the opportunity to contribute to the operational and financial success of the stadium, through day-to-day operations, a variety of projects and exciting events such as football, Major League Baseball, athletics, rugby and community events.

No two days will be same so this role will be varied and give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities.


Events and filming take place all year round, and at different times and days, so you may be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends to fulfil particular project needs.
