Are you a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Tower Hamlets, East London?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Speech and Language Unit within a Primary School in Tower Hamlets, East London for January 2023.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year,with a daily rate of £80 to £90.

The school are looking for someone to work within the unit supporting students aged between 4 to 11 that have Speech and Language Difficulties and/or additional needs such as Autism and learning difficulties.

The primary school is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated with a dedicated unit on site for students with Speech and Language Difficulties.

The provision provides a specialised curriculum tailored towards the needs of the students catering for up to 20 students.

All students within the unit are aged between 4 to 11 with all students holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The school is easily accessible by public transport and has parking on site.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
