Description

Working within our Block Management Department in our Mayfair office, reporting directly to the Director of Property Management, the role will entail working closely with the Director in order to provide essential accounting functions and general day to day administration.

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following aspects:


  • Reconcile payments from Leaseholders using the ResidentTM CRM system
  • Undertake regular arrears reporting for each client and chase outstanding service charge arrears with leaseholders directly
  • Application of Late Payment fees to service charge accounts and referral to external debt recovery agent where necessary [in line with terms of Management Agreement]
  • Liaise with External Debt Recovery Agent/Solicitor in relation to the above
  • Issue payment receipts to Leaseholders
  • Issue remittance advices to Contractors and update payments on ResidentTM
  • Raise Service Charge and Ground Rent Demands to Leaseholders (following provision of approved budget by Director of Property Management)
  • Raise interim Service Charge Demands to Leaseholders (i.e. for Major Works or other Section 20 works) when required
  • Payment of supplier invoices and scanning / filing of all supplier invoices once paid
  • Reconcile Leaseholder accounts
  • Preparation of documentation required for external Accountants in relation to the preparation of Year End accounts (such as, Trial balance & nominal ledger, 12 months bank statements for the company, total ground rent demanded in the year [if applicable], Aged debtors report, Expenditure report)
  • Raise company invoices for Management Fees, Company Secretarial Fees, Major Works fees, and any other fees as may be required
  • Provide monthly internal management fee reports
  • Assist with day to day management of portfolio where required including being the primary individual to answer all calls from clients

This is strictly an office based role from our Mayfair office, and not home working. Full time Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm, but could be flexible on hours (for example, 10am to 3pm) as long as it is still mon-Fri.


Salary:
£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
