We have vacancies for a part-time B4 Assistant Practitioner Radiographer looking for a new challenge.

Harrogate and District Hospital Trust have some excellent opportunities for applicants.

We have a bold capital replacement scheme underway; our ED suite has already been remodelled, we now have two modern DR rooms.

The main department is being transformed in 2023 with a new CT suite and new DR rooms.

The department is undergoing some redesign, staff remodelling and modernisation.

We are reviewing skill mix and so looking for experienced Assistant Practitioners who would welcome the opportunity to work in other modalities and/or out of hours.

We are open to those who wish to progress to Radiographer via university top up scheme.

We would also welcome Assistant Practitioner applicants who have experience in CT /MRI.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated team players.

We are a small district general hospital supporting community services as well as acute workflow.

our core hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday with acute services covered at weekends and overnight with onsite shifts.

We are a reasonably small team and therefore Assistant Practitioner Radiographers need to be able to rotate through all areas and be flexible.

All Assistant Practitioner Radiographers are expected to take part in theses out of hours duties.

The department provides

Plain film imaging and fluoroscopy services to hospital and community wide clinical areas including trauma, orthopaedic, cardiac catheter lab, theatre and mobile radiography as well as GP referrals.

the department also provides a full range of Ultrasound, CT scanning, Nuclear Medicine, MRI scanning and symptomatic Mammography services.

The spa town of Harrogate is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with excellent links to Leeds and York, making it possible to commute from these areas daily.

Harrogate is a much sought after location due to its excellent facilities, shops, bars and restaurants. there is also access to local top preforming educational establishments.
