We are seeking a dynamic and visionary
International Marketing Director to control and oversee the marketing function for Cable Management and Protection.


Job Role


Reporting into the President International for Cable Management and Protection, The Director of Marketing supports Business Unit and global growth by working with the team to drive strategy, marketing mix (4P's), and our customer insight process.


Key Responsibilities and purpose of the role

  • Responsible for optimizing all the key aspects of the organizations growth strategy, driving collaborative projects within the company.
  • Develop and execute marketing and communication plans for products and services with clearly defined value propositions
  • Evolve and manage the companies digital marketing strategy to provide business growth opportunities as well as improved customer journey experience
  • Lead role in driving Atkores Mergers and Acquisitions internal process
  • Demonstrate deep experience in the international regions that we operate within, leveraging expertise around customer insights, macro and micro trends.
  • Develop deep category insights and leading initiatives for the sales team to leverage with clients.
  • Communicate as the internal face of international business marketing and occupy seats in global work streams to drive key strategies on behalf of the international regions and the global organization.
  • Responsible for leading and growing a diverse regional and inmarket team and managing a budget to ensure the team delivers impact as well as contributing to the global strategies across Atkore
  • Research global market trends and develop products that suit international demands
  • Design, implement and communicate organization's brand to a global audience.
  • Understand and monitor consumer and competitor trends as a leading marketing expert within the company.
  • Work with business leaders on developing appropriate marketing strategies for all Atkore brands
  • Work with appropriate digital agencies, first parties marketing teams and internal development teams to fully support all launches and releases.
  • Define and report on key marketing performance metrics.
  • Define KPIs, streamline, automate, scale and measure marketing tasks

What we are looking for?

Experience, Qualifications, Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in
    Engineering and/or Marketing, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years work experience in marketing, business development, and sales.
  • At least 5 years' experience leading and managing a team
  • Significant experience in a B2B and/or B2C marketing leadership role
    within similar industry is required.
  • Deep experience in working in a highly matrixed environment, solid expertise in leading through others and a track record of leading successful cross functional programs.
  • Strong creativity, energy, and significant analytical and marketing rigor.

Relevant business and industry experience related to our product portfolio (cable management, construction, mechanical and electrical engineering solution, metal and steel manufacturing etc.)

is ESSENTIAL:


  • Direct experience working in nonresidential project construction with a product manufacturer, channel partner and/or service provider, electrical related preferred.
  • Financial budget management experience.
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to make decisions and solve problems
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Visionary, organised and efficient
  • Passionate people and team manager, including setting direction, building plans, and coaching teams for success

Based in UK or Europe and able to attend in our HQ West Bromwich/Dudley or working onsite in Oudenaarde, Belgium and happy to travel internationally:


  • Fully eligible to work in the UK / Belgium:
