Description
Provide basic nursing care and support under direction of a trained nurse.

Record observation e.g. pulse, blood pressure, temperature and urinalysis after competency based assessment, reporting all abnormalities to a registered nurse.

Ensure accurate labelling, identification and safe collection of specimens and blood products.


Applicants must have an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives and desirable experience of a hospital environment.

Ffrancon Ward are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Health Care Support Worker to join their team.

You must have an interest in working within Women's health as this ward is a busy, acute ward caring for patients with Gynaecology conditions.

You will be part of a team of hard working and dedicated nursing, medical and administration staff, and on a daily basis you will be required to work in liaison with the team to ensure the delivery of safe, well organised and effective care ensuring a positive experience for patients and families who access our service.
