We are offering:


Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week

Working form home available, as well as flexibility with working hours


Salary:
£38,000 - £45,000 DOE

Future progression plan towards Manager and more senior roles

Duties Include:

• Preparation of Limited Company accounts, Corporate and Personal tax returns to a high level review stage with mínimal review points
• Adhoc tasks and assistance for the Directors and Senior Managers, i.e. Company Submissions, Management Accounts, Capital Gains Tax Returns, Client Software Assistance and Training etc.
• Review of client produced VAT returns and communication directly with these clients for any corrections and approval of submission
• Training and mentoring of a Junior member of the team
• Reviewing VAT returns produced by a Junior member of the team and communication directly with these clients for submission approval
• Dealing with adhoc client queries
• Appropriate delegation of tasks to Junior staff members

Skills/personal requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience working in an Accountancy Practice
• ACCA/ACA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Experience of working with Xero, Dext, and IRIS preferred
• Proactive and takes initiative, i.e. to improve and streamline processes internally and for clients, and to proactively assist clients and colleagues
• Able to independently prioritise workload
• Friendly and personable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
