Castle Water is looking for a talented and technically astute
Finance Business Partner (FBP) who will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and complete financial information to the business, working with business stakeholders to understand and drive improved financial performance.

The ideal applicant will have experience within the Financial Services/Utilities sector, be a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).

They should possess exceptional financial acumen, technical ability and have the capacity and confidence to work alongside senior business stakeholders.

In return this position offers a competitive salary, bonus, pension, and where applicable, study support.

This is a permanent position, with an immediate start date. The salary range is £30000 to £42000 per annum (DOE)

Key responsibilities

Working with key business stakeholders to drive the development and monitoring of robust processes for controlling spend, financial planning and reporting
Assist with developing, maintaining, and reviewing financial models used to support the business.
Evaluate departmental performance and KPI reporting
Support business units in implementing effective and efficient ways of working
Monthly reporting on Company/Department P&L with variances to Budgets
Monthly financial reporting and profitability analysis
Managing the quarterly and yearly forecast and budgeting process
Driving improved business performance
Highlighting opportunities for improvements and driving solutions
Assisting in producing business cases and return on investment analysis
Governance (financial assessment and approvals)
Engaging with business stakeholders and support the Group to continually develop and enhance management information and key metrics to validate business performance
Participating and presenting in operational and financial review meetings
Proactive approach to driving efficiencies and develop models and tools that support business activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
Prior professional experience in a Finance Business Partnering or an Analytical Finance role
Proven experience in a dynamic finance environment with proven ability to work with a varied mix of stakeholders
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Analytically strong and pragmatic with a long term vision
Excellent verbal communicator with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders across an operational business
Highest levels of integrity and probity and a commitment to the highest levels of effort
