Group Finance Manager

Up to £90,000 + benefits

Partner Financial are retained by a FTSE 100 business services company, with a turnover in the billions.

Involved in international operations, the company has a heavy presence in both the US and Europe, while looking to become market leaders in other regionsthrough a significant investment plan over the coming years.

Key responsibilities:

Overseeing and taking ownership for the preparation of the annual and quarterly financial statements, working closely with the FP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury and Company Secretarial functions
Reviewing, challenging, and understanding the monthly area results and their forecasts
Leading the team regarding group's reorganisations and restructuring
Being the main contact for external advisors and auditors
Providing technical and accounting advice across the group as required
Taking part in the accounting for intercompany transactions, ensuring all transactions across the Group are correct and accurate
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
Experience working within or with a listed business would be advantageous
A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
An inquisitive mindset where you continuously seek process improvement and can work independently
Extensive understanding of accounting principles and strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
