Our client is looking for a hardworking and committed individual to join there team.


Stock Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Loading and Unloading lorries using forklift and maintaining the yard
  • Be the first point of call for loading and unloading of all vehicles in line with H&S procedures awareness of raw material and dispatch/ return of finished stock
  • Goods-In inspection and booking in
  • Allocating to build plan and stacking in order ready for works
  • Notify Purchasing and Production Manager of any damaged or nonconforming goods received and place in the quarantine section
  • Responsible for stock checking goods out, eye for quality and arranging documentation in line with purchase orders and highlight any shortages to Purchasing department
  • Responsible for returning finished (galvanised/another) items back into stock within 48hrs confirming quality and stock numbers. Qty issues to be reported within 24hrs
  • Check all items on the order are available and correct as per the sales order on receipt of order. Ensure all information in place in time before dispatch/packing
  • Complete applicable documentation such as Hire/PDI sheets, despatch documents, photos and order completion sheets
  • Be aware of any customer specific despatch requirements such as maximum weight and dimensions, labels, operating manuals etc
  • Shelf replenishment when picking items for despatch highlight if the items are low in stock
  • Requesting hire equipment service, repair and maintenance and check in and out of hire equipment
  • Working 12 weeks in advance of the production plan, kit upcoming works orders ensuring the engineers have all parts required to complete the job. Checking and feedback on kitting/BOM lists
  • Live stock management (check product daily/ weekly) to ensure the system is correct at all times. No manual adjustments without reason and cost awareness. Weekly reports on changes made. Rework of nonconfirming stock to be allocated to production worksweekly to reduce the waste to >2% annually
  • Carry out daily checks as required. Ownership of specific equipment for daily checks and maintenance. Inform office immediately when any issues are found that cannot be resolved internally
  • Carry out weekly maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is in good working order and ready for use
  • Outside yard control. Ensure space is utilised efficiently. Keep clean and tidy and take ownership of space utilisation, racking and equipment

The Ideal Stock Coordinator Will Have:

  • Understanding Bill of Materials to determine production process and requirements
  • Work with team to audit and update all system data
  • Counter balance and reach Forklift licence
  • Manual handling / lifting experience
  • Experience using materials control system
  • Experience in creating and following workflow process'
  • PC literate with good administration skills

Working Hours:


  • Monday
  • Friday (Overtime available)
  • 08:00 17:00
  • 30 minute lunch break, 2x15 minutes break in the morning and afternoon (paid)
