Traded Service Support Officer - Tower Hamlets (Temp Vacancy)

Umbrella Pay Rate:
£26.31ph

Full-Time (37 hours)

Principle Accountabilities:

Plan, prepare and manage the distribution of publicity materials
Organise a calendar of engagement events
Represent Education Traded Services at external events
Undertake market research
Write, edit, and proof marketing materials for use across different channels
Update the corporate website
Coordinate with the council's design team the production of publicity materials
Coordinate with the council's corporate communications team the dissemination of stories from the directorate in a timely manner

Core Areas of Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience of writing copy for different mediums including publicity materials (brochures, flyers etc.), newsletters, and website
Excellent proofreading skills
Experience of working with external suppliers including design teams, photographers, videographers
Experience of working with corporate brands
Great attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable:

Knowledge of the workings of local authorities in London and government, with Children's Services background an advantage
Good analytical, research, presentational and interpersonal skills
Proactive, selfmotivated and flexible
Passionate about Children's Services
