We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity within our Digital Business Services team, part of our IT Service, for a dynamic and driven professional to join us as an IT Coordinator.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating the delivery of a wide range of services, functions, and projects that support the Council's Digital Strategy and Transformation agenda.

You will be responsible for directing a team of specialist staff and contributing to the development of technical roadmaps, team plans and project plans.

Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving our Digital Skills program, Microsoft Power Platform governance, and the development of our online forms platform.


You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience using analytical tools, techniques, and approaches to successfully gather, synthesise, organise, and present information / evidence, including identifying and categorising risks, opportunities and impacts, to a professional standard
  • Successfully leading / coordinating projects of significant value
  • Communicating complex processes and issues effectively and professionally including creating reports which are clear, concise, and appropriately targeted
  • Engaging effectively with managers and colleagues at all organisational levels
  • Work collaboratively, including leading / participating in multidisciplinary groups

The Individual:

You will be a highly motivated and innovative individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

You must be educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline or be able to evidence suitable experience in a role of a similar nature.
