Did you know Central London Community Heath NHS Trust is now responsible for delivering West Hertfordshire Community adult services since October 2019?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our in-patient Intermediate care general rehabilitation service at West Hertfordshire. We are looking for a band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant to join the therapy team at Midway Unit, Langley House.


This is a service for the rehabilitation of adults presenting with a range of physical dysfunction/or disabilities resulting from injury, illness, surgery or chronic disease.

The majority of the patients are referred from an acute hospital and some may be referred from the community settings and establishments.


We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team, who has the passion and skills for supporting the therapy team in the delivery of a high standard of rehabilitation.

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitian, other Rehabilitation Assistants, Speech and Language therapists and Social Workers.

To be responsible for a caseload of patients working to agreed treatment objectives and to assist qualified staff in carrying out individual and group treatment

To be responsible for handing over patient progress and any areas of concern following intervention to the relevant member of ward staff, or care home staff.
