SALARY:
£20, £23,807.63 pro rata + 6% pension
HOURS: 21 hours
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Lead Practitioner for Health and Well-being
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Volunteers, Sessional Workers & Facilitators
LINE MANAGEMENT BY:
Lead Practitioner
We are looking to recruit a keen and self-motivated project worker to work in the local community with women aged 55+ with a focus on those from South Asian Communities.
As part of your role, you will deliver culturally sensitive front line services to vulnerable women facing loneliness and social exclusion, focussing on Health and Well-being.
so that participants learn new skills and build confidence thus breaking their fear of loneliness and enable them to lead an independent life, build new skills and improve self-confidence.
Bengali speaking (Sylheti) dialect is preferable but not essential.The closing date for all posts is: Monday 7th August 2023
