Description
Are you a detail person? Do you love extracting information from a database and interpreting it in various ways? Do you have great organisation and time management skills,a nd the ability to consistently meet deadlines? Would you like to make a difference to local families?

Foundation Years Trust is a small charity, working with families of 0-5-year-olds.

We have developed our programmes over the years and now need someone to take our understanding of the impact to the next level.

We want someone who can use an analytical approach to data - assessing our impact, identifying trends, patterns, and gaps.

You would also need to have a good awareness of compliance, GDPR, safeguarding, and others.

21 hours per week (possibility of increasing to 30 if work demands, after probationary period)


Your qualifications:
GCSE level English and Maths

Skilled user of digital systems

Experience of managing, interrogating and interpreting data systems, and producting analytical reports.

Key responsibilities


Impact monitoring:


  • Plan impact annual monitoring schedule with Parent Partnership Workers and Programme Coordinator, according to the annual delivery plan.
  • Ensure data collection (surveys and interviews) are collated centrally.
  • Ensure quality of data entry
  • Provide analysis of impact for CEO and programme team
  • Support the CEO and Programme and Community Engagement Coordinators to capture learning in areas such as the school/nursery programme and coproduction with data analysis.

Reporting:


  • Maintain donor tracker, ensuring reporting dates are clear and adhered to.
  • Produce donor reports using impact data and information from programme team
  • Produce internal mid year and end of year reports for trustees and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external evaluator (e.g. for the National Lottery grant) to capture learning for annual donor reports.

Database management

  • Quality control of database, supporting Admin officer on data entry as necessary
  • Explore how the database can be better used to support programme delivery and effective decision making, including for example, staff time/cost analysis.
  • Produce regular reports from database to inform programme team's work.

Website management

  • Update the news section of the website regularly and make changes to the website as necessary.
  • Provide relevant data and statistics for effective marketing of programme.

General

  • Maintain donor folders on the shared drive, ensuring all reports/contracts and other important documents are filed.
  • Support adhoc events
Other tasks as required according to FYT's strategy/annual workplan
