Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of educational activities, working under the direction of a class teacher.
  • Assist in preparing classroom materials and setting up learning environments.
  • Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their full participation in lessons.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students.
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo this check.
