The following provides details of the ward activity and clinical related activity components of the job plan which are annualised to 42 weeks per year.

The final job plan will be agreed with Clinical Director prior to commencing the post.

Acute Paediatric Duties (Annualised 10 PA over 42 weeks):
POW, M-F, 9am to 5pm (1 in 10) = 52 PA POD, M-F, 9am to 10pm (1 in 10)= 91 PA Weekends 9am to 6pm on site (1 in 10)= 31 PA Non-resident on call (1 in 10)= 31PA Outpatient: General Paediatric & Sub-Speciality= 84 PA Safeguarding Clinics = 21 PA SPA= 63 PA Other Admin / QI= 42 PA Calculations based on 42 weeks / year (6 weeks annual leave, 2 week public holidays and 2 weeks study leave)
