NXTGEN have a unique and very flexible, Part Time Indirect Tax Manager opportunity for a dynamic and fast paced organisation based in Cambridge.

The role will initially be offered on a 12 month basis.

The Indirect Tax Manager will be joining at a time ofexciting change within the business as they undergo a period of transformation to improve the quality of financial reporting across the business.

Within the role, you will lead on all risk and compliance areas associated with Indirect Tax, working with seniorstakeholders to ensure they are aware of business risk areas.

You will also oversee the delivery of all VAT and Intrastat returns working with the central finance teams to ensure these are delivered to HMRC deadlines.

The Indirect Tax Manager will also playa key role in improving and updating tax reporting processes, maintaining a compliant environment that is kept up to date with legislation changes.

Key responsibilities within the role will include:

Oversee the delivery of all VAT, Intrastat and EU Sales list returns, ensuring all risk is reviewed and reports are compliant
Identify VAT risks within business units, working with stakeholders to ensure they are aware of these
Management of all Indirect Tax reporting processes, designing new processes when required to ensure they keep up to date with changes to legislation
Work with supply chain teams to ensure all shipping invoices and purchase orders are compliant whilst also reviewing tax risk areas of new supply chains
Work with external Tax advisors to deliver quarterly and year end indirect tax reports including VAT returns
