**Driver (Support Worker)-
Sheffield Day Services
Full time (39 hours per week) or Part time

We are looking for people to join our friendly and welcoming team in Sheffield Day Services, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, where you will have the opportunity to enhance people's lives.
We deliver creative, dynamic and person centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in a Day Centre.
Your role would be to collect and return the people we support from day service to home and on a variety of community activities and thus supporting service users to engage in meaningful activities.
Your day to day role would be to collect service user from where they are living and transport them to the day centre and take them home from the service, drive service users and support staff to community activities, help service users with personal care and to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by service manager.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Hold a current, clean and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PSV licence, [D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997) can be considered] for at least 5 years
- Capability to maintain accurate vehicle and user records
- Competent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance

Working hours are typically between 8am and 4.30pm in weekdays. Infrequent evenings and weekends may be required for specific events we put on.
Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided
