Responsibilities:
- Plan activities to keep the children occupied.
- Provide cultural experiences for the children (e.g. holiday celebrations, arts and crafts).
- Recognise misbehaviour in children and address it in a controlled manner.
- Cope with tantrums or behavioural problems in a calm manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children.
- Understand and follow relevant council regulations about children and young people's services.
- Monitor children for signs of illness or injury.
- Plan activities for keeping children occupied.
- Work with the staff team to create an environment that allows children to feel safe, happy, and secure.
