Description

Digital Skills Curriculum Coordinator

18 month Part-time Fixed Term Contract hours

CALAT Digital Skills department offers a range of courses from beginner to Level 2 for those looking to gain skills for employment or to simply be more confident with accessing and navigating information online.

Courses take place in CALAT digital skills suites and in the community. Most digital skills courses CALAT offers are OCN-accredited and recognised by employers.

We are currently looking to recruit a Curriculum Co-ordinator to support the management and delivery of CALAT's highly successful Digital Skills programme.

Applicants MUST have a teaching qualification, relevant knowledge, skills and previous experience in teaching digital skills to adults in the FE environment.

CALAT (rated Good in inspection) has been at the forefront of Adult Education in Croydon for over 70 years. We continue to deliver high quality courses with a commitment to providing our learners with effective support.

As CALAT delivers digital skills training to the hard to reach and has referrals from job centres, Mind and other local organisations, many of our learners have confidence issues and need to be supported and nurtured to become independent learners.

You will need to have an experience or willingness to work with a complex range of learners within a group to successfully complete their learning.
