Concept Resourcing is pleased to be working with another NHS organisation as they look to further expand their Procurement team with the addition of an experience Procurement Manager at a Band 8a level.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

To deliver a strategic Procurement and Market Management service for customers, leading on specific projects
Work on collaborative procurement projects across a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical leads, to meet key milestones and performance indicators
To provide specialist training to customers on the implications of procurement legislation and what they need to consider when making commissioning decisions.
To deliver against key performance indicators and project/programme milestones, meeting all customer objectives and produce significant results within key markets
To develop strong customer/stakeholder relationships to ensure project compliance
To provide appropriate specialist input into the successful delivery of procurement and any service improvement
To effectively manage sourcing and procurement processes that translate into robust procurement project that complies with procurement guidance, European and National legal frameworks
Provide specialist procurement expertise and product/service specifications to ensure procurement and supply chains demonstrate optimum service delivery, incorporating risk management philosophies
Develop relationships with strategic providers to maintain service delivery performance and a good working knowledge of changing market conditions

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Ideally MCIPS qualified or equivalent
Previous experience within a Public Sector Procurement role
Sound knowledge of Public Procurement principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build good working relationships with suppliers

Depending upon experience this role will pay a salary between £48,526 - £54,619 plus benefits. You will also be required on-site (Oldbury) once a fortnight.
