    Description

    Role Purpose

    The Homeless Casework Service was established to assist applicants who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation to move into suitable and sustainable housing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To provide exceptional customer service to homeless applicants and key partners.
    • To offer specialist homelessness casework to single applicants with complex support needs, ensuring all aspects of casework adhere to relevant legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.
    • To collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs and housing requirements.
    • To contribute to the development of safeguarding best practices across the Housing Advisory Service.

    Requirements:

    • Significant experience in providing specialist homelessness casework to single homeless applicants with complex needs, including those leaving institutions.

    The Resettlement team works closely with partners to facilitate smooth transitions into suitable housing and promote sustainable housing solutions. This position plays a critical role in shaping the Homeless Casework Service and contributing to the growth of the Housing Advisory Service.
