Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Foundry Operative to work out of a manufacturing environment for an international client based in Smethwick.

Hours:
Monday - Friday with overtime opportunities

6am - 2pm or 7am - 4pm


Pay rate:
Up to £14


We are seeking enthusiastic individuals looking to take their next step into a well established Foundry with genuine career progression. There are several positions available within the company including Quality, Fettling, Moulding, Burning, Cutting & Profiling

Your day to day responsibilities will include:_

  • Identifying products that need picking and packing for customer orders
  • Making most of ongoing training & development
  • Communicating effectively across different departments
  • Operating forklift and overhead crane to move products around the workshop
  • Working in a busy Foundry Environment covering several departments
  • Ensuring stock is kept in good condition and stored in a safe manner
  • Adhering to health and safety rule as set by the company
  • Have previous experience working within the metals / manufacturing industry
  • Hold previous overhead crane and forklift experience
  • Be familiar with machinery and tools used within the Foundry industry
  • Be enthusiastic and ambitious

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
