The Supply Room is excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic Specialist School in Wareham, Dorset.


As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with young adults aged 16-25 years old who require additional support in their journey towards independence.

Punctuality, reliability, and a passion for working with people are essential traits for success in this role.

Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include supporting students with a diagnosis of Autism.


The curriculum is specifically designed to encompass a range of activities, including Horticulture, Pottery, Equine Therapy, Farm School, Online Retail, and Life Skills.

Through your guidance and assistance, students will develop practical skills, independence, and confidence.


Working primarily on a one-on-one basis or within small groups, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on each student's personal growth and development.


The working hours for this full-time position are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, providing you with a healthy work-life balance.


With a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract from day one, this permanent position offers stability and the chance for you to grow professionally within the Specialist School.


We offer a competitive pay rate of £80 - £85 per day to reflect your dedication and the expertise you bring to supporting our students.
