Job Overview:
Duties:
- Perform aseptic surgical recovery procedures on donated dogs and cats with care and respect
- Process recovered tissues according to established protocols and procedures
- Ensure proper documentation and labelling of tissues for accurate tracking and traceability
- Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures
- Communicate with pet owners and veterinary practices to ensure efficient distribution
- Participate in promotion and marketing of tissue products and awareness of tissue donation to pet owners and veterinary professionals
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related science field is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with donor families
- Competence in social media and content creation to manage public social media outlets
- Experience in laboratory setting and understanding of aseptic protocols
