SEN Teacher


Location:
Rotherham, South Yorkshire


Contract:
Full time, Long term.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • A DBS on the update service
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of all pupils in your class
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, ensuring that targets are set and met
  • Working closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure that pupils' needs are met both in and out of school
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupils' progress and achievements
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy
