Description
Sorrento Support is a specialist Supported Housing services provider based in Birmingham. We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team.

OUR RATE OF PAY
:
£15
PER RESIDENT*
We pay per resident, not per hour - giving our staff the incentive to complete support sessions with residents each week. Perfect if you have parental responsibilities, or other commitments that would make a traditional 9-5 role difficult to manage.

The contract is zero hours, and you may be allocated up to 25 residents, where you would be expected to provide a minimum of 1 hour of person-centred support to each resident, each week.

For each resident you are allocated, you will be expected to deliver support (which also includes wellbeing checks across the week) which will need to be documented in each resident's support file.

The support files combined with the support delivered to residents, will need to meet our expectations.

If this is successfully met, we will pay £15 for each resident who has received a minimum of 1 hour of support - paid at the end of a 4-weekly schedule that is shared with all our contractors.

Please note that this role is on a self-employed basis, on a zero hour contract.

You may be allocated a caseload of residents to support each week, or required to provide cover for other Support Workers.
