This highly successful company are looking for an
experienced Credit Control Managerto take a lead on
building the in-house Credit Control processes and someone who has the
confidence to proactively chase debt.
You will be
working within a flexible environment where you are only
required to be in the office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
-
To take the lead building the company's Credit Control Processes:
-
Project implementation:
-
Liaising with the current out sourced credit control team to understand process and facilitate transfer

Coordinating finance staff when it comes to Credit Control
-
Reporting to key stake holders
- Accounts Manager, Financial Controller, CFO
Negotiating repayment terms with customers:
driving good business practices across the company
Checking customer's credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards

Setting up repayments and working with Debt Counsellors
- Ensuring customers pay on time and charge them for overdue invoices
Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time

Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs:
- Maintaining accurate records
- General sales ledger and client database administration and housekeeping, ensuring contact and key details are consistently up to date with strong attention to detail
- Ensuring that all relevant and important information is recorded within the appropriate client files / operating system
Requirements:
- Experience working within
Credit Control at a senior level: - Experience
implementing new processes: - An
innovative mindset to help solve any problems you may face
