Jenson Fisher are currently recruiting and experienced Sales Manager for their Client, a well established company in the East Kilbride area of Glasgow.

In this role, you will be tasked with covering Central Belt & Ayrshire, working with a dedicated internal co-ordinator with the sole aim of growing new business and developing the existing customer base.

Reporting to the East Kilbride Branch Manager, the SalesManager is very much a 'full sales cycle' role.

You can expect to manage a portfolio of existing customers, providing service reviews, and growing usage, whilst focusing dedicated time to new business generation.

Being able to plan and organise your time effectively, is a big part of the role. You will be outgoing, approachable and will be skilled in building lasting relationships with key customers. This Client is known for providing exceptional service, and this roleis no different.


Sales Manager Key Duties:


  • Working with a dedicated internal coordinator, you will require excellent communication and team working.
  • Creating and implementing a business plan for allocated territory to maximise sales & deliver excellent standards of customer service & support.
  • Working to set Sales and Gross Profit forecasts.
  • Maintaining and developing existing key accounts, whilst also identifying prospective companies and working to make them customers.
  • Regularly meeting with customers face to face, with 60% of your time being spent field based.
  • Working with and updating bespoke CRM system to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes.
  • Providing a consultative approach with customers, creating effective solutions to meet their needs.
  • Developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all solutions and full product range.

Do you have the correct profile?

We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced B2B sales professional (ideally minimum of 1 year field based/customer facing experience).

You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to actively build strong relationships via first classcommunication and influencing skills.

You will enjoy genuinely 'adding value' to customers as your prior experience will already have seen you selling a solution.

Selling with integrity, you will be accustomed to ensuring customers are fully satisfied andwill be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in meeting sales targets.

Living locally within the local area is desirable and having a valid UK driving license is essential.
